I have been working in Qatari government sector (Qatar Petrochemical Company and Qatar Steel) since 2013. I am currently with an Oil & Gas company Qatar Petrochemical Company as a Secretary/ Technical Assistant, which translates to Administrator or Administrative Assistant in other sectors. I can confidently say that I am an asset to the company as I serve as the logistical point of contact of all external companies with regards to Plant Shutdown/ Turnaround delegation of Specialists from around the world. I coordinate all arrangements for FSEs (field service engineers) i.e., Visas, Gate Passes, Vehicle Permits, Laptop Passes, training booking, hotel and local transport arrangements and many more. I am also the Budget Planner and Building/ Fire Controller for our department. As I am reporting directly to the Chief Operations and Deputy Chief Operations Officers, I am also responsible for their calendars, meetings and appointments. I am also tasked in compiling all necessary data for the completion and issuance of Monthly Production Reports and Monthly Bulletins. Before my stint in Qatar, I had the experience to work in the government sector as well as a Data Encoder at PhilHealth, the premier health insurance company of the Philippines). I have passed the Civil Service exam administered by the Civil Service Commission of the Philippines and have worked with the Claims Processing Dept. We were on quota work that time that's why I utilized my typing speed of 70+ during my stint there. I hope you give me a chance as I believe I will do great in virtual work as I already tried and enjoyed it during the most crucial times of the pandemic and weekend work at home during our busiest plant shutdown/ turnaround period.
