As a Marketing Officer in a private hospital, I was tasked with the handling of the company's social media account (fb) to post regularly relevant topics and infos and answer inqueries and complaints via chat. I was also tasked with the daily monitoring of sales from different department (eg. Pharmacy, Laboratory, Xray, etc.), and tally it with the cash on hand less the expenses. I am also required to recruit resident doctors/physicians and invite more doctors to rent a clinic with us. I also design marketing paraphernalia to boost the community awareness of the company/hospital and our services. Some of the minor task I handled was inventory and purchasing of medical supplies.
As a Business Development Assistant in a corporate company specializing drugstore/pharmacy franchising, I am tasked to handle number of clients or franchisees to ensure the performance and marketing of their store of franchise. This job requires field work for I have to visit the assigned franchise to me at least once a month. During visits, I have to check their POS computer (Point of sale) and make sure that the sales is doing good specifically in generic medicines. If a store is not doing well in terms of sales and foot traffic we do promotions by flyering or giving out flyers to let people know about the existence of the store and we also do activities like free consultations (with a physician/doctor) and affordable laboratory tests. If there are any concerns from the franchisees we act as the bridge of communication between the company or the department involved and the franchisees. Monthly report of all the data and concerns gathered from all the stores me and my team handled, are required and must be presented to the Boss herself. Aside from all that, me and my team also attends expos to gather more prospect clients and franchisees. Get their details, send them emails of proposals and sometimes cold calls them. If able to sign a contract for the franchise, I also have to do site acquisition for wherever the desired location of the client. I have to look for commercial spaces suitable for a drugstore/pharmacy. Get all the detalis necessary about the commercial space, make a powerpoint presentation out of it, present it to the Boss, if approved, present it to the franchisee and it will be their call.
