I'm an Electrical Engineer who knows how to prepare Material Takeoff, Quantity Takeoff and Cost Estimation for Electrical projects ensuring accuracy in Budgeting, Bidding, and Project planning. Responsibilities also includes:
1. Project Analysis & Takeoff
-Review Electrical drawings, Blueprints and Technical Specifications to determine Project scope.
-Perform Material takeoffs and quantify Electrical components (Boxes, Wirings, Panels, Fixtures, etc.).
-Identify Labor and Equipment needs.
2. Cost Estimation & Pricing
-Calculate Material, Labor and Overhead costs using Bluebeam Revu software.
-Research and compare Supplier/Vendor pricing for cost-effective solutions.
-Develop detailed Cost breakdowns and Bid summaries.
3. Bid Preparation & Submission
-Prepare and submit competitive bids and proposals.
-Ensure compliance with project requirements and client specifications.
-Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients to refine estimates.
