My name is ----------- B. -----------. I’ve been a journalist and content writer for about six years now.
I'm currently a section editor for Esquire Philippines, where I mostly handle the arts and culture, news, technology, environment, and automobile spaces. In my capacity, I write long-form features, profiles, essays, and cultural criticism pieces.
I also handle a sub-network of contributors and writers in the process. In the past, I’ve also served as a content writer for various brands, agencies, and start-ups in the Philippines, Singapore, America, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, and Australia. Most of my pieces focused on real estate, small businesses, and luxury goods.
In addition, I was once a program officer under the Program Monitoring and Evaluation Division of the Philippines' leading cultural agency, the National Commission for Culture and the Arts. During my tenure, I handled programs and projects for the National Committee on Central Cultural Communities and the agency’s research program.
I'd like to believe that my adaptability, journalism background, and research experience make me an ideal candidate for editing and writing roles. My tenure as an editor and as a content writer demonstrates that I can create informative and engaging content, all the while guiding other writers I’ve handled toward the same goals.
I understand how to approach different topics, audiences, and projects from different perspectives and in different voices, all while doing my due diligence and adhering to a client's highest standards. This extends to my work in culture, lifestyle, and the real estate industry.
