*Accounts Payable
- Processing of all company payments including employee-related such as but not limited to reimbursements, replenishment and liquidation of cash advances, employee’s final pay, SSS benefits and other similar statutory
payments.
- Preparation of Accounts Payable Voucher (APV) and recording of Accounts Payable (AP), reviews validity and completeness of supporting documents as specified in the Request for Payment (RFP) and ensures compliance with tax rules and regulations and company budget policies.
- Handles three-way matching of Purchase Order (PO), Goods Receipt (GR) and supplier’s invoices.
- Prepares BIR form 2307 for issuance to vendors.
*Accounts Receivable
- Preparation of monthly Statement of Account (SOA) and recording of Journal Voucher (JV), reviews validity and completeness of supporting documents as specified in the Request for Payment (RFP) and ensures compliance with tax rules and regulations.
- Monthly follow-up of outstanding receivable to related parties.
* General Accounting
- Ensure proper and timely recording of accounting transactions for month-end
- Prepares reconciliation of intercompany transactions.
- Records and assists in general accounting functions, accruals, payrolls, prepayments and month-end closing activities.
- Consolidates all costs related to each project initiated by the Company.
- Supports and complies with internal and external audits.
*Budget
- Prepares the budget template to be used by each section and for consolidation purposes.
- Consolidates budget from Section to Department to Division, reviews the nature of each line item and compare it with the previous year’s approved budget. Communicates inquiries, if any.
- Prepares a presentation for Controller and Chief Finance Officer (CFO) discussion.
- Initiates cut in order to meet the target budget for the following year.
- Cascades the approved budget once finalized.
