Welcome to my OLJ Profile! My early career focused on crocodile conservation where I advocated the conservation of the two species of crocodiles in the Philippines, including the critically endangered Philippine Crocodile (Crocodylus mindorensis). At present, I am in charge of the implementation of intensive Public Education and Community Participation (PECP) using quad-media, assisting in the conservation research with government and academic institutions, and through involvement in biodiversity assessments. This has led me to become a member of IUCN SSC - Crocodile Specialist Group in 2017. I am also an active and participating member of the Biodiversity Conservation Society of the Philippines since 2017, Herpwatch Pilipinas since 2019, Global Youth Biodiversity Network in 2020, Philippine Toxinology Society Incorporated, and Early Career Croc Network in 2022. In March 2019, I was able to finish the eLearning Wildlife Conservation Course organized by the University of Oxford, and am currently working towards my Masters in Conservation and Restoration Ecology at the University of the Philippines - Baguio.
I recently had an in-depth training as a data entry specialist. I am a highly motivated individual with strong attention to detail and listening skills. My expertise lies in accurately transcribing audio recordings while ensuring timely delivery of high-quality transcriptions. With my computer skills and attention to accuracy and efficiency, I am committed to maintaining well-organized and managed data. I am capable of delivering my best work even within tight deadlines. If you need me to learn a particular program for a job that falls within my area of expertise, I assure you that you won't have to spend a long time training me. I am confident in my ability to quickly adapt to any training or program that the job demands. After I have learned the necessary skills, I require minimal supervision.
