As a legal, there are few important skills that one must have. I have developed few of those skills from my current work and my previous ones, such as: 1. Having a communications skills. I've been a customer service representative, one of my main responsibility is to assist clients. One of the most common concern whenever I receive a call is customer cannot make payment on time because their due date is far from when they will have there salary , so as a result payments are delayed, to resolve their concern I suggest to change their billing cycle which will also affect the schedule of the due date, which will help the client in paying off her bills on time; 2. Being a customer service, I had taken different kinds of calls and in my current job facing different people. In order to serve them efficiently, the first I do is to offer a smile, then listen with open ear and answer their inquiries effectively. 3. Being a writer, as a legal assistant, one of my responsibility is to write affidavits where I showcase my skills. Details should be concise base on the chronological event and it meets the needs of the client.
4. Being Analytics, one of the things that I do is to assist clients in transferring properties in their names, It is very important that before pursuing the transfer, they are aware of the taxes they need to pay. One of my responsibility it to analyze and make an estimation on how much taxes they would paying. and lastly 5. Problem Solving, let me share to you one of my experience whenever transacting to government agencies, we have this liaison officer, who I am in constant communication whenever he is transacting papers. On that day he was in the Bureau of Internal Revenue, I already prepared all the documents needed to be used for the transfer of property before hand, so that all he has to do is give it to the officer, however when he was there, the officer was asking for another different document which we can no longer provide, he pleaded but nothing happen, so he relayed the problem to me. I asked him to persist what we need but still nothing happen, so I d----------- to send him back to the office. I relay the concern to the management, I suggested that we send another person but we are going to submit the
same documents. So, the next day, I sent a different staff to the Bureau of Internal Revenue, just few minutes later the staff return to me and we got what we need. As a result our client was happy because we were able to give the computation of taxes that she needs to pay.
