I am currently a medical virtual assistant because I decided it's more practical and convenient to permanently work from home. Prior to this, I started working as a customer service representative for a healthcare insurance covering medicaid. For more than a year, I took phone calls fro-----------mbers to help them with various concerns such as claims, prescriptions, eligibility, benefits, and other healthcare needs. I then got promoted as a supervisor wherein I handled a group of representatives to ensure that their call handling and key metrics are at goal. After a year of supervising for the same healthcare account, I luckily stepped up again, this time as an Assistant Manager. I handled a larger group of people to ensure that everyone is aligned with the client's goals.
I am very keen on details, I am team player , I make sure that I am always above the goal, and those skills helped me be able to move from being a representative to being an assistant manager in just a span of 3 years.
