I'm a Civil Engineer, with almost 15 years of professional experience, working in an office environment. I have been involved in projects ranging from but not limited to mid-rise buildings, oil and gas, land development works and structural steel detailing.
I am currently searching for home-based job or project, as a Virtual Assistant/Admin Assistant.
I have knowledge in using design and drafting softwares, MS Excel, Word, Google drive, Google spreadsheet, Jing, hangout, etc. As a Data Entry and web research newbie, I have done school research project, wherein I was tasked to search for school emails, names and input links to a spreadsheet. I have provided a "how-to" file documentation as well. As a Civil Engineer, I've been tasked to do not only technical works, but also with administrative duties as well. My duties were to prepare budgetary estimates, sourcing-out of possible suppliers, coordinating with sub-contractors, prepared letters to be sent out to possible bidders for civil works, then collated their bids in Excel for comparison. I was also tasked to prepare documents that will be distributed to other team
members. I was also assigned to various projects and attended several design clinic and software tutorials for continuous learning and growth.
With these experiences, I believe that I'm fit to be a Virtual Assistant/Admin Assistant. I may have few experiences so far in this certain field but rest assured, I'll be doing my best to learn fast and advance in this new career that I'm aspiring for.
