In my previous role as a Medical Scribe:
-I handle documenting patient encounters in real-time to 8 different healthcare providers in the clinic
-assist at least 15- 20 patients in a day which involves listening to and transcribing physician-patient interactions
-Communicate with providers for documentation accuracy
-Maintain HIPAA compliance and confidentiality of patient information
-Customer Service/Inbound and outbound calls
-Assist in ordering tests, prescription and referrals as directed by the providers
-Appointment Scheduling/Collecting payments
