I build custom business systems for companies that have outgrown spreadsheets and off-the-shelf software.
Eight years writing business software, first desktop systems for retail and cooperative clients in the Philippines, and since 2021 full-stack web applications with PHP (Laravel), React, and MySQL. Most of my work is the unglamorous kind that companies actually run on: point of sale, inventory, accounts receivable, ordering workflows, and connecting systems that were never designed to talk to each other.
What I have shipped:
Devanta ERP (devanta.app) is my own product, a multi-branch platform for retail and pharmacy businesses. POS, inventory and stock transfers between branches, goods receipt, accounts receivable, expense tracking, role-based access down to the branch level, and analytics dashboards. It also has an AI invoice scanner that reads supplier invoices and turns them into stock entries, and a chatbot that answers questions against the business's own data.
QuoteKing (-----------) is a fence quoting and material estimation platform for a Canadian client. I rebuilt the drawing engine with React and the Canvas API on top of Google Maps so dealers could measure a property and price a job in one pass, and built a SOAP/XML integration that keeps inventory in sync with their QuickBooks Desktop install.
How I work: I ask what the business is trying to fix before I write code, because the requirement a client gives you is usually not the problem they have. I work remotely with clients in Canada, Singapore, and the US, and I write and speak English at a C2 level, so you will not spend your week decoding my updates. I am comfortable inheriting a messy legacy codebase, and I am comfortable being the only developer on a project.
Stack: PHP (Laravel), React, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Python(FastAPI), TailwindCSS, InertiaJS, ElectronJS, REST APIs, Docker, Git and GitHub Actions, Linux (Ubuntu VPS, Nginx), AWS S3 and CloudFront, n8n, QuickBooks integration, LLM API integration and RAG chatbots.
