Duties and Responsibilities:
• Handle technical customer service inquiries and problem regarding telephone and PC LAN connection.
• Installation of data cable and configuration of network connection
• Installation of Analog, Digital, Fax and VOIP Phone.
• Configuration and test Pc’s / workstation for network usage.
• Prepare Technical Progress reports and Documentation
• Prepare tools and materials needed for LAN and Telephone installation.
• Identify physical and technical changes in LAN configuration resulting from reconfiguration and/or expansion
• Update documentation related to a particular change in the LAN and Telephone.
• Troubleshoot and isolate LAN and Telephone problem such as defective patch cables and connector, defective ports, etc.
• Conduct a yearly preventive maintenance for LAN equipment like switch, hub, and router.
• Assist and support for upgrading of LAN and Telephone equipment.
• Activation of data port for the deployment of VOIP Phone.
• Termination and activation of data cable from patch panel to data outlet
• Receive and resolving ticket using VMware / vFire Core client application.
(EUS ICT Warehouse)
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide necessarily documentation of Meralco units such as Desktops, Laptops, Monitors and other computer peripherals.
• Isolate and Repair Desktop and Laptop units for Re-image, Join Domain and Configure needed apps for Meralco Standard Image.
• Troubleshoots Desktop and Laptop problem such as defective RAM, keyboard, motherboard etc.
• Assist and support for upgrading of Desktops and Laptops.
• Receive and resolving ticket using VMware / vFire Core client application.
• Update units and computer peripherals if in stock, deployed, retired, donated or disposed depending on the status of the units on VMware and Meralco ICT Warehouse universe excel file.
• Provide End-of-Day Report.
(ICT Patch Management Team)
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Manually update monthly Windows Security Critical Patch through SCCM.
• Upgrade OS Build of every Desktops and Laptops, ensure every units, applications and windows version is in the latest updates.
• Remotely assists users via Remote Desktop or Quick Assist for regarding Windows 10 / Windows 11 issues and problems.
• Manually rebuild Operating System if unit is experiencing slow response and failed to install latest patches and updates.
• Remotely install windows monthly patches and latest windows operating system via SCCM or through psexec.
• Sending advisory to users via MS Teams for proper scheduling of the updated patches and remote assistance.
• Monitoring the process of the updates and ensuring all the units are all in working conditions.
• Sending documents of the processed and updates units and EOD Report.
