I am a seasoned IT professional with over 20 years of
experience in system administration, information security, and network
management. I currently serve as a System Administrator at Soosan ENS Co. Ltd.
in the Philippines, overseeing the Casecnan Hydro Electric Power Plant. Since
December 2021, I have been responsible for the installation, maintenance, and
support of Windows Operating Systems, as well as the administration of Cisco
UCM, MS Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, and File Servers. I also lead monthly
information security awareness meetings, ensuring a culture of security within
the organization.
Prior to my current role, I worked as a System
Administrator for California Energy, where I managed IT infrastructure and
network security for over a decade. My role included providing Office365
training, maintaining Oracle Work Asset Management applications, and
implementing IT policy development and disaster recovery planning. My
contributions significantly enhanced operational efficiency and ensured a
reliable IT environment.
My career also includes experience as an Information
Security Analyst at Safeway (Philtech) Manila, where I managed i-----------
reports, conducted PCI scanning, and delivered security awareness training.
Additionally, I served as a System and Network Administrator at Sandstone
Technology Inc., supporting Linux Platform Applications and virtual machines,
among other responsibilities.
I began my career as a Technical Support Engineer for
Jollibee Foods Corporation, where I administered system database backups,
configured PCs, and maintained network access for users. Over the years, I have
acquired a broad skill set, including familiarity in cloud platforms (Azure,
Google Cloud Platform, Amazon), hardware (Cisco, IBM, Dell, HP), operating
systems (Windows, Linux, Mac), and various security and backup tools.
I attended several training certifications, including
Certified Ethical Hacking v10, ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Information Security
Management Systems, and extensive training in networking, routing, and
switching. My commitment to continuous learning is demonstrated by my
participation in numerous seminars and training programs.
Beyond my professional life, I am a family-oriented man,
deeply committed to community service. I have served as a full-time missionary
and a Branch President for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints,
where I led a diocese and managed church activities for a large congregation.
