As a Junior Interior Designer, my role involves supporting the design team through a variety of tasks aimed at transforming client spaces into beautifully functional environments. My responsibilities include assisting in the development of design concepts by creating mood boards and detailed presentations, as well as preparing floor plans and 3D renderings using design software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp.
I conduct research to source materials, furnishings, and finishes that align with the project’s specifications and the client’s preferences. This involves staying updated with current design trends and product innovations. My work also includes visiting project sites to take measurements, assess conditions, and ensure that the design implementation aligns with our quality standards.
In addition, I assist in coordinating with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring that all aspects of the project are executed smoothly and on schedule. I support client interactions by preparing documentation, taking meeting notes, and addressing inquiries as directed by senior designers.
Overall, my role is to contribute creatively and practically to design projects, ensuring that every detail is thoughtfully considered and that the final result meets both aesthetic and functional goals.
