Through my experiences in the academe, I've developed a strong foundation in both technical and administrative skills that I’m eager to bring into a virtual assistant role. My leadership experience as a Project Leader and Student Council Secretary taught me how to manage projects efficiently, from coordinating meetings with clients to organizing important documents.
In my role as the Student Council Secretary in High School, I honed my organizational and administrative skills by taking on responsibilities that required attention to detail and effective communication. I was entrusted with preparing meeting agendas, taking accurate minutes, and crafting essential documents such as request letters, resolutions, and student memorandum orders. These tasks not only improved my ability to manage multiple responsibilities but also deepened my understanding of the importance of clear communication and meticulous file organization. My experience in this role has prepared me to handle complex administrative tasks efficiently, making me a reliable and effective virtual assistant.
As a Civil Engineering Project Leader at my University, I developed strong project management skills by leading a team in the coordination and execution of various projects. I was responsible for preparing agendas for client meetings and focus group discussions, ensuring that all stakeholders were aligned and informed. My role also involved organizing group files, including Word and PDF documents, 2D plans, 3D models, and video animations, which required a high level of attention to detail and proficiency in various software tools. During my internship at a local Construction Firm, I gained valuable hands-on experience in file management and inventory control. I was tasked with maintaining accurate records of purchased construction materials and creating detailed Bills of Quantities using computer programs such as MS Word and Excel. This experience not only enhanced my technical skills but also taught me the importance of precision and reliability in managing critical project data. My ability to work independently and ensure that all records were up-to-date and organized has prepared me to handle administrative tasks with a high degree of accuracy. I can bring this same level of dedication and attention to detail to support any team effectively with my role as a Virtual Assistant.
I am proficient in various MS Office Tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Publisher), Scheduling and Task Management Programs ( Google Calendar/Keep, Notion), and Graphics Designing Tools (Canva, Adobe Photoshop). With my expertise in the aforementioned tools, I am confident that I'll be able to excellently carry out whatever task that will be assigned to me as a Virtual Assistant. I also have some bonus skills such as Video Editing and Rendering, 3D Modelling and Rendering (SketchUp, Enscape), and 2D Drawing/Drafting (AutoCAD).
