I have been a VA/Recruiter for nearly two years at a US company, where my primary responsibilities include:
*Administrative tasks- Handling emails, scheduling appointments, managing daily inventory reports, fixed time logins and missed punches, tracked and monitored container vessels, adding new container labels in container shipment log and organizing files.
*Communication- Responding to inquiries, coordinating with clients and employee's
and drafting correspondence.
*Research and date entry-Gathering information, conducting research, and inputting data into spreadsheets or data bases.
*Project support-Assisting with project management, tracking progress, and ensuring deadlines are met.
Recruiter roles:
*Job description- Collaborating with hiring managers to define the requirements for each position , ensuring clarity on responsibilities, skills and experience
*Talent sourcing strategies-Developing and implementing strategies to identify potential candidates, considering factors like, industry, experience level, and cultural fit.
*Candidate sourcing-Using various channels and platforms to find qualified individuals, including job boards, social media platforms, professional networking sites and referrals
*Screening applications-Reviewing resume's and cover letters, conducting initial interviews, and assessing candidate's qualifications against job requirements
*Candidate communication-Maintaining and timely communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing updates and feedback on their status
*Interview coordination & Feedback collection-Scheduling interviews with hiring managers and providing candidates with necessary information about the company and role. Gathering feedback from hiring managers and providing constructive feedback to candidates
*Candidate assessment and Presenting top candidates-Evaluating candidate's skills, experience, and cultural fit based on the company's requirements and the feedback from hiring managers. Presenting a shortlist of qualified candidates to hiring managers for final selection
*Offer negotiation & Onboarding-Assisting with salary negotiations and extending offers to successful candidates. Facilitating the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires
