Good day!
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Graphics Design at Cosmopoint International Institute of Technology, now known as CIIT College of Arts and Technology. The same year, I interned as a graphic artist at GMA News and Public Affairs, creating various publication materials and design outputs for the department’s HR office.
I also graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication at La Salle College Antipolo. I interned at Energy FM, one of the Philippines’ leading FM radio stations, where I learned social media management, content creation, and copywriting. I even dabbled in acting as part of our team’s content creation.
I started my work as a Broadcast Monitor for Isentia Manila. My work as a Broadcast Monitor required me to deliver manual summaries of Australian and New Zealand news items from radio and television for the company’s clientele.
Two years later, I became part of the brilliant Backsearch Monitors and Studio Operators team, with my knowledge of basic video editing and years of experience as a Broadcast Monitor helping me land the role. My work as a BackStudio Monitor involved a lot of conversing with the company team leaders and Account Executives to deliver relevant news clips and interviews to our clients on time.
As part of my upskilling, I took part in and completed the General Virtual Assistant Training facilitated by Freelance Academy. I also completed the Introduction to Bookkeeping course under TESDA (Technical Education And Skills Development Authority).
In my downtime, I run a personal blog where I try to write more insightfully about the media I consume monthly.
I am currently looking for a new role after six fulfilling years at Isentia Manila and am open to any roles you may find suitable for me and my current work experience. I am also open to any training you may require as part of your intended role for me.
I am looking forward to a positive conversation!
