I am a graduate from Silliman University, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering.
My studies there have helped develop my skills in Electrical Engineering, ranging from Cost
Estimation, Electrical System Design and Distribution System. In my senior year, for our thesis
project which is a requirement for graduation, I was duly assigned to do our project’s Electrical
Design, Automation and Structural Design with the use of AutoCAD and ETAP.
During my internship at NORECO II, I was assigned to Metering Services Team and in the
Maintenance Team, which required me to work on site. Among these assignments was to install
energy meters to residential houses, install three phase energy meters to commercial buildings,
transfer energy meters to accessible locations, secondary line tapping, maintenance work,
troubleshoot customer lines, thermal scanning of 64kV and 13.3kV bus terminals, transformers
and line feeder lines, inputting data of job orders and lastly, the last few days of my internship, I
was with an engineer locating and thermal scanning hotspots in different feeders at different
locations.
