I possess a strong background in providing administration and office support services which spans more than a decade. I handled the day to day tasks for the project to operate in a high pressured working environment.
I am well equipped in performing administrative duties such as providing executive support to colleagues/team, calendar management (setting appointments), drafting correspondences, and other assistance they may need to name a few. I also dealt with budget management, generating financial reports and processing invoices/payments. It has also been my responsibility to procure any goods and services required by the project in compliance with the office's procurement rules. I have mastered the art of negotiation and developed a keen eye when it comes to scrutinizing goods and services to ensure value for money and quality. I also worked heavily on contract management from the selection of vendors to registration in the system, contract issuance and monitoring until assessment and payments to the contractors.
As an overall project assistant, I also worked on travels of colleagues, partners, contractors and participants/fellow. Travel management included flight and/or transportation bookings, arranging hotel accommodation and other logistical concerns, securing clearances, visa assistance, finalizing itinerary, processing of travel claims and other matters related to travel.
I am also an events organizer having been able to mount various events/activities from the rigorous planning until the successful implementation of the actual events. My coordination,organization and interpersonal skills have greatly been used and truly honed.
I have handled several projects and teams and have mastered the skill to multitask in a timely manner, strategically working on tasks based on priorities, urgency, impact and available resources.
