Worked in a community health setting for almost 10 years as a nurse. I was able to deal with people with health care needs including areas that are considered underpriviledged. Sometimes we deliver services at the comfort of their home such as vaccination especially those who are considered defaulters. Bringing services to them is one of the most challenging part of being a community nurse since in some areas, pumpboat is the only means of transportation which takes 1-3hours of travel. With my experiences, I can tell that Iove grown so much not just as a healthcare worker but as a person.
