I am Francis Argie D. Gan, a dedicated educator, IT professional, and creative entrepreneur. Currently, I’m pursuing a Master’s degree in Information Technology at Caraga State University while working as an Instructor at ACLC College of Butuan. Teaching allows me to inspire and mentor students through innovative methods such as lectures, workshops, and group projects, equipping them with the skills needed for today’s fast-paced world.
In addition to teaching, I’ve built a successful career as a freelance Virtual Assistant, Social Media Manager, and Graphic Designer. Since 2021, I’ve managed social media platforms, creating engaging content and strategies to boost brand visibility. I’ve also developed stunning graphic designs, leveraging tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Canva to deliver professional and eye-catching visuals that resonate with target audiences. My experience in remote work has refined my organizational skills, time management, and communication, enabling me to deliver results efficiently.
My IT journey started with a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from ACLC College of Butuan, followed by roles as a System Analyst/Software Tester at Engtech Global Solutions Inc. and a Data Entry Specialist for the American Dental Association. These roles taught me the importance of precision, critical thinking, and adaptability in dynamic work environments.
I’m passionate about continuous growth, which has led me to participate in advanced training in Python programming, data science, and technopreneurship. My research, “Bookista: Electronic Library with Augmented Reality,” was published in the RIED Multi-Disciplinary Research Journal, reflecting my dedication to innovation and technology. With certifications in Visual Graphic Design (NC III), Computer Systems Services (NC II), and Caregiving (NC II), I bring a diverse set of skills to every role I take on.
