As a Healthcare Technical Officer under the TB Program in the Philippines, I apply my expertise as a licensed Medical Technologist to support efforts in TB prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. In my role, I provide technical assistance to healthcare facilities, oversee laboratory operations, conduct quality assurance checks, and analyze performance data to ensure high standards in TB management. I also conduct training sessions for healthcare staff on TB protocols and collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance program implementation. My work contributes to improving health outcomes and advancing the DOH’s mission to combat tuberculosis in the Philippines.
