I am Jelli Joy Santolaja. I am a proud Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) who has been living and working in the UAE for over 8 years.
With over 6 years of experience in the dental field, I have developed a comprehensive skill set working as a Dental Receptionist, Dental Coder, and Insurance Coordinator. My role involved managing patient interactions from start to finish, ensuring smooth visits and providing excellent customer service. I was responsible for registering new patients, documenting and coding their information, and verifying insurance details. Additionally, I processed insurance approvals, sent claims, and managed payments for uninsured patients.
Afterward, I transitioned to Levard Medical Center as a Dental Coder. In this position, I handled all aspects of insurance billing for patient services. I was responsible for verifying insurance coverage, accurately communicating with staff and patients, and following up on insurance claims. I also reviewed patient accounts and ensured proper billing distributions.
