I've been in the industry for almost 5 years now specializing in Planning and Cost Control for both vertical and horizontal construction. At the early stages of my career, I became part of the planning support team creating bidding schedules and level 5 schedules for live projects. Eventually, after a year, I became the lead planning engineer on one of our vertical projects piloting multiple product innovations such as Primavera P6, Open space app and BIM360. As I move forward, I was involved in contractor selection, contract negotiations and awarding, billing processing, audit and job requests evaluation. Now, I am currently employed as a cost control engineer mainly tasked with cost management, reconciliation of contractors accounts and overall cost reports from which I was piloting the use of Power BI,conducting basic excel training and as I go beyond, I also did standardized processes such as change order/closeout for the company.
