Commercial Insurance Processing: Experienced in handling submissions and quoting tasks across various commercial lines such as General Liability, Commercial Property, Workers’ Compensation, Business Owner’s Policy (BOP), and Commercial Auto. Pulling loss runs from carriers or ordering them via email, managing and processing day to day emails from carriers (quotes, additional information needed from submissions and ordered loss runs from the underwriter). Sending follow-ups and additional documents needed.
Carrier Platform Knowledge: Familiar with processing quotes and submissions through multiple insurance carriers including Travelers, The Hartford, Liberty Mutual, Nationwide, AmTrust, and other major commercial carriers.
Submission Desk Expertise: Skilled in reviewing documents, verifying completeness, preparing submission packets, and routing items to underwriters with accuracy and speed.
Data Management & Documentation: Proficient in entering, updating, and validating data in insurance management systems; experienced with tools such as Applied Epic, and carrier portals.
Attention to Detail: Strong ability to catch inconsistencies, missing requirements, and rating errors to help reduce rework and ensure clean submissions.
Time Management & Productivity: Able to manage high-volume tasks, meet tight deadlines, and maintain performance metrics in a fast-paced environment.
Communication & Collaboration: Works effectively with teams, underwriters, and supervisors to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and deliver accurate outputs.
