I am a Civil Engineer with over 11 years of professional experience, specializing in Project Management and Cost Estimation. Currently, I am involved in a foreign-funded infrastructure project, where I lead a critical workstream that requires close coordination with multiple stakeholders from both the private sector and various government agencies.
My responsibilities include end-to-end Consultant Management, coordination with Implementing Offices, Monitoring and Evaluation of project timelines and accomplishments, stakeholder engagement, and the preparation and presentation of regular progress and status reports. These tasks demand strong leadership, strategic planning, and excellent communication skills to ensure the seamless execution of project goals.
Prior to this role, I gained valuable experience as a Junior Quantity Surveyor and Cost Estimator. My work involved quantity take-offs, preparation of Bills of Quantities (BOQs) for government-funded infrastructure projects, cost estimation for private clients, and the review and evaluation of contractors' claims.
