Hi! I'm Cindy, a Solar PV Designer with more than 3 years of experience in residential solar design for U.S.-based clients. I am currently seeking opportunities in Solar CAD Design and I am open to part-time, full-time, or project-based roles.
My main responsibilities includes creating a code-compliant plan sets for permitting purposes. This involves designing layouts for both roof-mounted and ground-mounted PV systems, with or without energy storage. I am also responsible for developing single-line or three-line diagrams to support the electrical installation and utility approval process. Additionally, I perform site assessments based on provided photos to determine the appropriate electrical interconnection for the system, identify potential equipment locations, and define the scope of work required for solar installation.
The residential solar projects I’ve worked on have all been based in the U.S., particularly in California, Nevada, Hawaii, New York, New Jersey, and Illinois. These are the jurisdictions I’m most familiar with in terms of permitting and code requirements.
