MAJOR FUNCTION:
• Supervise the warehousing and distribution activities, which include effective receiving, handling, storage, dispatching of goods and materials.
• Create strategic planning and projection of activities that will contribute to the growth of the company.
• Responsible for the selection, induction, productivity, safety, morale and advancement of staff.
• Monitor compliance of staff regarding duties and assignments.
• Review, evaluate and appraise performance subordinates and recommend appropriate procedures.
• Determining performance requirements.
• Developing Staffs.
• Ensuring a cooperative workforce.
• Handles Operation both for Plant 1 and Plant 2 of Marikina and Plant 3 at Cagayan De ORO – CDO.
CHALLENGES:
• Appointed as member of the Food Safety team Plant 2.
• Appointed as member of the Food Defense Team.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Supervise all inbound and outbound operations from receiving up to dispatching of all raw materials and finished goods.
• Supervise the delivery of Raw Materials supplied to all district facilities upon schedule and/or request. Make emergency deliveries as needed. Ensure accuracy of completed documents.
• Plan and direct the inventory level of minimum-maximum raw materials.
• Develop procedures and implement once approved. Maintain necessary records.
• Established work schedule, coordinate activities of various shifts.
• Initiate and maintain proper and necessary safety and security guidelines.
• Participate in seminars sponsored by Quality Assurance and Management, and those required by his/her superior.
• Supervise and validate cleaning of warehouse facilities and equipment including waste disposal.
• Collaborate with other departments.
• Escalates issues to managers and recommends potential solutions.
• Ensures the team follows company policies and procedures.
• Measure and report on the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee performance.
• Organize and maintain inventory and storage area.
• Maintains item records, documents necessary information, and utilizes reports to project warehouse status.
