I've spent the last 4+ years working inside the day-to-day of e-commerce stores — mostly Shopify, with some Etsy and WooCommerce mixed in. Right now I handle SEO, product listings, and customer support for House Sensations Art, a custo-----------tal sign and home décor brand.
Here's what that actually looks like day to day: I write and optimize product listings so they rank and actually convert, I keep customer emails answered fast without sounding like a copy-pasted script, and I clean up the backend stuff most people never notice — metadata, collections, tags, broken links, slow-loading pages — so the store runs the way it's supposed to.
I got here by working three different stores with three very different needs. At Shop Velena I learned catalog management and order support from the ground up. At Metal Plex I moved into SEO — keyword research, on-page optimization, rewriting product copy that wasn't pulling its weight. At House Sensations Art I've been doing both of those, plus AI-assisted content work (Canva, ChatGPT, Claude) for short-form promo videos and graphics when the brand needed it.
I'm not the type to just check boxes off a task list. If a listing is missing alt text, or a supplier keeps causing delays, or the app stack is bloated and slowing the site down, I'll flag it even if nobody asked me to — that's just how I work.
Tools I use regularly: Shopify Admin, Google Sheets, Ahrefs and SEMrush for keyword research, Canva, Slack, and ChatGPT/Claude for drafting and content. I pick up new platforms quickly — I taught myself the WooCommerce backend in about a week when a client needed it.
If you need someone who can own the SEO and listing side of your store, keep customers happy, and doesn't need much hand-holding, I'd like to talk.
