Hello! My name is Macey Guina, and I’m excited to apply for the Medical Coder position.
I recently completed my Medical Coding course and training, where I learned to apply official guidelines and assign accurate codes using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II. I am proud to hold the CPC-A (Certified Professional Coder – Apprentice) credential from AAPC, which reflects both my training and my commitment to professional growth in the field.
In addition to coding, I have hands-on experience with medical billing processes and have used SimplePractice, DrChrono, and Tebra to verify insurance, post payments, submit claims, and resolve denials. I also have a solid background in customer service in healthcare, assisting patients and insurance representatives with empathy and professionalism, ensuring accurate information and a positive experience.
Some of the key qualities I bring to this role are my attention to detail, reliability, task orientation, and sense of urgency, which help me ensure that records are accurate, compliant, and completed on time. I’m proactive in staying current with guidelines and solving issues before they escalate.
