Performs complex buying strategies to purchase and arrange timely deliveries of products, especially in Chilled & Frozen, Rice, and Eggs, expediting as needed, and serves as a liaison between vendors and users, obtaining prior approval for purchases. Negotiates prices, terms, and quality requirements; prepares requests for quotes and assists in developing new supply or sources; evaluates market conditions. Performs value analysis to identify cost improvements. Performs complex clerical work related to purchasing contracts, supplier management, and materials management following company policies and procedures. Ensure timely processing of purchase orders according to policy and in line with the established procurement plan. I support the company heads and colleagues with special projects and initiatives that involve the development of the function, process optimization, and internal customer engagement
