I bring ten years of experience in communications and operations work with people across diverse sectors and backgrounds. That said, I consider myself a newbie in the virtual space and approach it with a beginner's mindset. I look forward to applying my strong set of transferable skills while continuing to learn new and exciting ones along the way.
Beyond core administrative tasks, I have been helping individual clients, government and academic institutions, and development/nonprofit organizations effectively communicate their services, accomplishments, and knowledge products to their intended audiences over the last decade. I do this by conducting research and translating complex information into easy-to-understand reports, manuals, IEC materials, protocols, and reports.
I most enjoy doing comms and operations work with organizations doing work in the following spaces:
• education/coaching/self-improvement/training and development and research
• social impact
• science (health and wellness, environment/agriculture)
• culture
• communication
• art & literature (music/dance/photography/publishing, etc.)
My aim is to always deliver quality outputs and services that are audience-centered and aligned with client goals. I also have experience in project coordination, maintaining critical information systems, and acting as the primary point of contact between my executive, team, and organization and internal and external partners.
Mutual respect and open communication are among the things I value the most in my professional relationships. I also find joy in going beyond mere task-taking, and I aim to provide proactive, reliable support that helps mission-driven leaders focus on the big picture.
