Previously, a Site/Project Engineer looking for part-time work such as cost estimation, quantity surveying, and remote project management. Currently a Resident Engineer (Building Engineer) in a Mall facility.
Site engineer tasks and responsibilities:
-Oversee and check the Plans/shop drawings prior to site implementation -Ensuring that proper methodologies of construction were implemented in the project -Checking if the components installed are within the standard,s especially prior to concrete pouring -Processing of the billing endorsements/ payments for the Contractor. -Proposing necessary changes or "Site calls" when needed. -Proper scheduling in order to finish the project on time. -Quantity Surveying and Cost Estimation of plans for additional works and new projects, and processing necessary documents for Change Order/ Contractors’ claim. -Processing of Purchase Requisition (PR) for Materials needed on the Site.
Resident engineer task and responsibilities:
-Schedule Inspection, Maintenance, and Repair of Mall utilities such as Gensets, chillers, cooling towers, AHUs/FCUs, Pump rooms, STP etc. -Ensuring that spare parts for all equipment are well supplied and readily available -Prepare Bill of quantities and scope of works for repair, maintenance, and new project works.-Call/Outsource for contractors to bid, quote, and evaluate mall utilities maintenance and repair works, as well as supply necessary materials. -Monitor equipment maintenance through compliance in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS or MAPCON). -Ensure on-time processing of contractors’ billings -Quantity Surveying and Cost Estimation of plans for additional works and new projects, and processing necessary documents for Change Order/ Contractors’ claim. -Processing of Purchase Requisition (PR) for Materials needed on the Site. -Processing and coordinating with the Bacolod City Water District BACIWA for the Testing, Commissioning, Negotiations and Water supply application. -Review and evaluate mall tenant plans
