I am currently employed as a General Accounting Specialist at a Retail Store here in the Philippine. I manage the setup of new stores in the system, ensuring accurate financial statements and reconciliations between franchisee books and company records.
Before I became a General Accounting Specialist here at my current company, I am an Accounts Receivable Specialist who reconciles past year’s books and bank records for uncollected/unreconciled balances.
On my second company also a Retail company, I am also a General Accounting Specialist that handles accounts receivable of employees and suppliers of the company. I process payment collections, reconcile records, and prepare schedules for employees and suppliers with outstanding balances. I also send billing statements for outstanding receivables and set up new suppliers and customers in the system, issuing official receipts.
On my first work, I am Junior Account that record financial data for tax purposes, prepare filings for business-related activities, and handle various government compliance requirements. We also provide outsourced payroll services to clients.
And lastly, on my internship on our tax government agency, I am assisting with VAT audits by recording sales and purchase transactions for audited companies.
