I have been working in the Construction Project Management industry for over 7 years, both in office and on-site settings. My most recent role was as an Office Engineer in a real estate company based in Cebu, Philippines, where I gained 5 years of experience.
I handled all types of documentation, paperwork, estimates you name it, I did it. I served as the main back-end support for my team and the Project Manager. I also functioned as their executive secretary, which meant I had multiple supervisors on-site. I genuinely enjoyed assisting them and helping solve various challenges.
My daily responsibilities included email correspondence, coordinating with the main office, accounting department, supply chain department, suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve issues and concerns. I was mainly in charge of organizing and ensuring that our team stayed on track with the project. While the team worked on-site, I managed all the back-end support such as files, records, running cost monitoring, and other administrative needs.
