MY BACKGROUND (BANK + MERCHANT SIDE)
I previously worked as a Senior Chargeback Analyst at Wells Fargo, where I reviewed an average of 64 disputes per day—over 30,000 chargeback cases in total. My role was to evaluate merchant responses against Visa and Mastercard rules and determine whether disputes were accepted or rejected.
From that role, one fact became clear: most merchant responses fail due to process errors, missing evidence, or misalignment with card network requirements.
I now apply that bank-side decision-making experience on the merchant side, helping businesses respond correctly—and consistently.
WHAT SETS ME APART
Unlike most chargeback specialists, I don’t only prepare rebuttals. I’ve worked with e-commerce merchants as both a consultant and an in-house dispute agent, giving me full visibility into how chargebacks move through real-world operations.
As a chargeback consultant, I was responsible for:
-Designed SOPs and end-to-end workflows for dispute handling
-Built rebuttal strategies per dispute category (fraud, no authorization, not received, etc.)
-Ensured responses aligned with Visa and Mastercard rules, not just payment processor prompts
As a Dispute & Chargeback Agent, I was responsible for:
-Handled live chargebacks across multiple payment platforms and gateways
-Prepared and submitted evidence, tracked representment outcomes, and managed deadlines
-Helped convert recurring chargeback losses into recoverable revenue
