Hello! I am Gela, an Events Management Officer with 9+ years of experience in both academic and organizational work. My journey began when I received the Gerry Roxas Leadership Award in 2016, which exposed me to youth leadership and community development platforms. From there, I grew as a scholar, student leader, and volunteer at the Gerry Roxas Foundation, later serving as their Finance and Admin Intern, Junior Finance Officer, and Junior Sales and Markerting Officer.
Currently, I work with the University of the Philippines' Saliksik Laboratory (UP SikLab), supporting the academe's innovation system by helping manage trainings, workshops, and conferences for innovators nationwide. While still new to the innovation space, I am highly receptive to learning and growth, building on my background in events, finance, and leadership.
A graduate of Banking and Finance (PUP), I bring expertise in finance, marketing, data management, content creation, and leadership development. In parallel, I also am a part-time Virtual Executive Assistant, with a niche in real estate support, customer service, training and development, marketing, administrative work, and data management, providing clients with organized, reliable, and results-driven assistance.
