I recently worked as a Virtual Legal Assistant for A US Law Firm who practiced Immigration and Family Law. My daily tasks for my client involved preparation of Immigration Forms, Legal Documents for Removal Proceedings and preparing initial Divorce Documents with the occasional need to do bookkeeping tasks for my attorney. This tasks required keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy and avoid any errors when we file the documents with the court.
Prior to being a VA, I was in the BPO industry for more than 10 years, with my last role as a Team Lead for a retail line of business. During my time in the BPO industry I was able to develop exceptional communication skills which is essential when you need to handle different types of customers daily, keen attention to detail - during my time of being part of the workforce team and Reports team I had to prepare AHT reports as well as the scorecard for our LOB which demanded accuracy, problem-solving skills - identify root cause for detractor calls to help in action planning, coaching skills - as a team lead it allowed me the opportunity to help develop the employees assigned under me by ensuring they hit their monthly KPIs.
