I recently received my PhD in Astrophysics degree at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU). As a PhD student, I worked at the Max Planck Institute in Extraterrestrial Physics (MPE). My dissertation, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Reinhard Genzel and Dr. Taro Shimizu, focuses on investigating the broad-line region (BLR) of active galactic nuclei (AGN) with GRAVITY, the near-infrared (NIR) interferometer at the Very Large Telescope Interferometer (VLTI) located in Paranal, Chile. My main goal as a scientist is to contribute to the betterment of my country, the Philippines, and the world with the skills and knowledge that I gained throughout my journey through meaningful research and better science communication.
