I had the opportunity to venture into small animal practice at P&G Veterinary Clinic and Services, and Tim-Bry Vetreats Animal Clinic where I trained and practiced. During my training, I learned to communicate in English and native dialect with various customers, and established veterinarian-client-patient relationships. I also documented medical information in real time and scheduled and reminded clients of their pet’s next clinic visit. When I moved up to resident vet I got to diagnose patients, perform surgeries like castration and cesarean section, and attend to emergency cases as I was placed mostly in night shifts from 11pm to 8am. Aside from my professional responsibilities I arranged and took inventory of medical supplies, organized and updated medical records, and accounted for daily sales.
