My name is ----------- R. -----------, 40 years old, and a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Mindanao State University – Main Campus, Philippines. I have been a Licensed Electrical Engineer since 2007, with over 15 years of professional experience in both the electrical and telecommunication fields, working in the Philippines and abroad—including Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Kuwait.
In terms of specialization, I have strong expertise in solar design, utilizing both manual calculations and web-based software such as OpenSolar, PVsyst, and PVsol. I have successfully coordinated pre-approvals with utility grids and electricity distributors across Australia, ensuring regulatory compliance and efficient project execution. Additionally, I get a Certificate of Electrical Safety from Energy Safe Victoria and consistently ensure that all works adhere to the standards set by the Clean Energy Council (CEC).
My experience also includes MEP estimation, performing material takeoffs and cost estimates using tools such as Planswift, Bluebeam, Groundplan, the Craftsman National Estimator, NECA, and data from credible electrical suppliers. Responsible in creating project bid proposal to the client across US, UK, Canada, Australia. And was once held as a Best Estimator of the Month. Project Management platforms and Pricing such as ----------- and Serrvicem8, Ascora, etc.
As an Electrical Designer, I am proficient in AutoCAD and electrical calculation. Additionally, I have hands-on experience in installation and pre-commissioning of electrical (transformers, generator, UPS, panel boards, lighting, power devices, fire alarm, etc) and telecommunication (pabx, data and telephone, data panels, fiber, cctv, security system, access controls, radar, master clock, radio communication, audio visual, public address, etc). I’ve worked both in the office and on-site, directly involved in construction, supervision, and testing—personally ensuring quality and progress.
Handling large-scale electrical projects has also allowed me to coordinate and supervise various trades, including civil, architectural, and structural disciplines—particularly within our electrical building works. One of the most significant projects I was involved in is the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah Causeway in Kuwait, which is the fourth longest bridge in the world with a project budget of $3 billion. I served as the Electrical Engineer for both site and office operations on this landmark project.
I’m looking forward to potentially bringing my experience and dedication to your team.
Thank you once again, and I am excited for the opportunity to contribute to your continued success.
