Senior leader with 19 years of experience in supply chain, sales, and sales operations within a global automotive trading organization, managing end-to-end processes including procurement, logistics, import/export coordination, inventory management, forecasting, customer support, and operational planning to ensure business continuity, customer satisfaction, and supply chain efficiency. Throughout my 25+ years of professional experience, I have worked in Japanese corporate companies in both manufacturing and trading industries, where I gained extensive knowledge of end-to-end business operations, customer management, procurement, logistics, and supply chain coordination.
My experience in Sales Operations and Customer Support includes handling customer orders, inquiries, RFQs, and managing the entire sales process from order receipt up to delivery completion, ensuring timely and accurate processing without delays or discrepancies between documents and actual delivered products. Customer orders were managed on a weekly, monthly, or quarterly basis depending on customer requirements, while deliveries were arranged through Just-in-Time (JIT) systems, daily, weekly, or semi-monthly schedules.
In Procurement and Purchasing Operations, I managed Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Orders (PO) through the SAP system while coordinating with suppliers regarding quotations, pricing, lead times, delivery schedules, and sourcing requirements to ensure timely procurement and uninterrupted operations. I also monitored purchasing activities until completion, ensured compliance with company specifications and budgets, and prepared order management reports covering purchasing volumes, return transactions, product rejections, and replacements. And to make sure and monitor that Inventory Level is being set within the budget threshold.
My experience also includes import/export shipment coordination, customs documentation, freight monitoring, and handling various Incoterms such as FOB, CIF, EXW, DDP, FCA, and DAP to ensure smooth logistics and supply chain operations
In addition, I conducted regular “Gemba” or on-site visits with suppliers and customers to monitor production operations, verify product quality, resolve operational issues, and strengthen business relationships. I also led process standardization, system upgrade proposal, Kaizen continuous improvement initiatives, team coaching, KPI monitoring, and operational planning while serving as second-in-command for Sales, Procurement, and Supply Chain functions when required.
