Joan Ira Revilleza is a linguistics graduate (Magna cum Laude, University of the Philippines) and language educator with experience in Filipino teaching, translation, and curriculum development. She has taught both local and international learners and creates learner-focused materials through her work as founder of Pamana Books.
She has also worked in professional translation and subtitling, serving as lead translator and proofreader for The Chosen under Angel Studios. Her work is marked by strong attention to grammatical accuracy, clarity, and cultural relevance, with experience in evaluating and refining text for both educational and AI-related applications.
