> Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with five (5) years of meaningful and extensive experience in public accounting practice in the Philippines (3 years) and in Oman (2years). Engaged in various industries including manufacturing, construction, telecommunication, retail, education and holding companies
> Expertise in SOX (US registered clients) and Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting (ICOFR-Qatar registered clients) programs; sampling, walkthrough, documentation, monitoring, deficiencies identification, testing of remediation/ mitigating controls and management reporting
> Skilled in identifying risks and controls, and developing audit test of controls both for manual and automated (system-related) processes
> Full experience with United States (U.S.) Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) compliance engagement from 2016 to 2018 audit and with Qatar Financial Markets Authority (QFMA) regulation compliance engagement from 2019 to 2020 audit
> Meaningful experience with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principle (US GAAP) reporting
> International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) accredited based on Ernst & Young (EY) Global and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) requirements which involved attending trainings, web-based learning, competency examinations, reading of standards and other publications. Passed the IFRS Competency Exam
> Proven interpersonal communication skills, having dealt with diverse professionals, clients and staff members
> Directly deals with client personnel and executive officers, and communicates audit finding, accounting issues and other matters during the course of engagements
> Able to respond in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with limited supervision
> Supervised staff members since 2017 audits up to 2020 audits, review and compilation engagements
> Significant experience in different type of engagement other than audit and internal controls such as agreed upon procedures and review engagements.
> Specialized in Internal accounting specifically on Financial Statement Close Process (FSCP) where we are reviewing the financial statements and ensures these are free from material misstatements for external reporting and meets management expectations for internal reporting.
