I am a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering graduate from Pampanga State Agricultural University, with strong training in equipment design, automation, and systems optimization.
While my degree is in Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, the program is inherently multidisciplinary and engineering-intensive, with significant focus on machinery systems, mechanical design, process engineering, and equipment operation. This background has equipped me with the competencies required of an Equipment Engineer, including equipment design, troubleshooting, maintenance, and performance improvement across both agricultural and industrial applications.
During my academic and project experience, I designed and developed automated systems such as a mushroom cultivation system with integrated environmental control and a rain protection mechanism for hydroponic structures. My thesis work further highlights my alignment with equipment engineering, where I redesigned a conventional dehydrator into a load cell–integrated system. This innovation improved equipment efficiency, enabled real-time monitoring of moisture loss, and enhanced overall process control.
I also completed technical training at the Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PhilMECH), where I developed parametric 3D models and conducted engineering simulations using SOLIDWORKS to validate equipment performance. In addition, I have hands-on experience in operating agricultural and biomass processing equipment, strengthening my practical understanding of machine behavior, preventive maintenance, and system reliability.
Beyond my technical background, my experience as a Customer Service Representative and Cold Caller enhanced my communication, problem-solving, and adaptability—skills that are valuable in coordinating with teams and ensuring efficient equipment operations.
