As a Quantity Estimator, my core skill is to accurately measure, analyze, and compute the materials, labor, and costs required for a construction project—from start to finish.
I specialize in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications to prepare detailed quantity take-offs for structural elements such as footings, columns, beams, slabs, and other components. This includes calculating concrete volumes, reinforcement bars, formworks, excavation, and backfilling quantities with precision.
I am also skilled in preparing both Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and Bill of Materials (BOM), ensuring that all project requirements are properly itemized and costed. Using tools like Excel, I organize data efficiently, apply formulas for fast computation, and minimize errors in estimates.
In addition, I understand standard practices (such as NSCP-based assumptions for structural works), unit costing, and basic project budgeting, allowing me to provide reliable cost estimates that help in planning, bidding, and decision-making.
Overall, my strength lies in being detail-oriented, systematic, and accurate—ensuring that every quantity and cost is accounted for to support a successful construction project.
