I am a Preconstruction Engineer who has spent the last few years supporting U.S.-based General Contractors on both residential and commercial projects. Most of my estimating work revolves around Division 2 (Site Work), Division 7 (Roofing and Insulation), and Division 9 (Finishes).
I have built up a good amount of reps on these and I'm comfortable working through them independently. I have also worked on the subcontractor side across a few different trades, so I have a decent feel for how things look from that end too.
On the tools side, I have worked on Bluebeam Revu, PlanSwift, On-Screen Takeoff, BuildingConnected, ConstructConnect, and AutoCAD. I am also highly proficient in Excel and the MS Office suite, and have some experience with Xactimate as well. I am Autodesk-certified in preconstruction.
I take accuracy seriously because a bad number at bid stage can cost a project before it even breaks ground. I would rather put in the extra time to get it right than have to explain a miss later. I'm used to working independently and I'm comfortable with US workflows and deadlines.
