My name is Allan Servillon, a Mechanical Engineer who has built a career from the ground up, literally.
I started as a mechanical tradesman while still in school — an on-the-job trainee at a machine shop in Davao City, running lathes, milling machines, power tools and welding equipment. Then I worked as a purchaser and bench worker at an industrial services and procurement firm, sourcing materials and fabricating components to spec. That hands-on foundation is still how I think about every project I run.
While finishing my Mechanical Engineering degree, I was Cadet Engineer and Technical Assistant to the Managing Director at a feedmill and agri-industrial corporation in Davao City, which gave me my first look at how engineering decisions actually get made at the top.
When the COVID-19 lockdowns hit, I kept working — as a Customer Service Representative for a Hong Kong cryptocurrency exchange, handling over 100 daily client inquiries and more than 200 high-value accounts under SLA tracking. It taught me discipline under volume.
I then founded AGTRON Construction and Supplies and ran it as Managing Director for almost four years. We delivered the HVAC, ventilation and fire-safety mechanical package as supplier-installer to the Shimizu-Ulticon-Takenaka joint venture on the USD 840 million Davao Twin Bypass Tunnel, the first large-scale road tunnel in the Philippines, meeting Japanese Industrial Standards JIS B 0139 and JIS A 0001 along with seismic and calamity resilience requirements. Structured remote coordination with the Tokyo-based engineers cut the design approval cycle and contributed a three-week gain against the mechanical works programme.
From 2025 I took that experience remote. For a Sydney plumbing contractor I ran construction administration and systems: takeoffs and estimates on three named residential projects, the tender register, the monthly master supplier price list, the per-project ITP compliance register, and the SWMS and SOP library. For a Minnesota design-build firm I coordinated procurement and operations across 12 concurrent high-end residential projects in Materio, built a 100-plus record subcontractor and vendor database covering W-9s and certificates of insurance, and drafted Minnesota-standard client contract documentation. For a Perth asset-management consultancy I authored controlled technical documentation for Australian mining and construction projects and built the controlled-document framework from first principles, advancing ISO 55001:2024 audit readiness.
What I actually do is build the operating systems contractors run on: procurement registers, document control frameworks, vendor databases, compliance registers and SOPs. I have established these from first principles in three separate firms and authored SOPs, operating systems and manuals for US and Australian firms.
I work permanently remote and have delivered on both US and Australian hours. I hold no current engagement, so I can start immediately with no notice period.
