I spent ten years running the operations of a 46-mission school education network in Sierra Leone: about 500 staff and volunteers, a USD 80,000 annual operating budget, and USD 80,-----------,000 a year in project grants. My work was keeping a large, scattered organization running — hiring and supervising staff, controlling budgets, building trackers and SOPs, and writing the reports donors relied on. I closed one EUR 51,126 school project exactly on budget with a nil balance and delivered it in eight months against a twelve-month plan.
I build simple systems people actually follow, I write clearly in English, and I work without being chased. I also taught myself to build a workforce management application from zero, so unfamiliar software does not slow me down.
