Hi, I am Laira. I am a software engineer who loves building practical applications that solve real problems. I recently graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Computer Science from the University of the Philippines Los Baños, where I spent my time competing in hackathons and building full stack projects.
My professional experience spans frontend development, backend architecture, and machine learning. Most recently, I worked on optimizing generative AI pipelines to drastically cut down response times and shipped collaborative web tools using React and FastAPI. I enjoy the challenge of taking a project from the initial planning phase all the way to a stable deployment.
